Honda Repair: Wiper Linkage Repair, hinge joint, windscreen wipers

Question
I have a 92 Honda Prelude 2.3L engine. The other day the windscreen wipers suddenly stopped. I have inspected the linkage and a rod/arm that is supposed to be connected to the wiper motor has come loose. The arm itself is fine but the plastic cap/bushing??(unsure of term) that holds it on is broken. Is it possible to just get replacement "caps" and if so what are they called?
Thank u

Answer
Nicole, the white plastic caps are not what needs to be replaced. The hinge joint that allows the arms to push and pull is deteriorated. The cap is just there to prevent debris from entering the greased joint. You need to replace the actual joints themselves. Honda dealership might have these available or might be able to locate these for you. Whichever they will have the resources to guide you in the next direction. My recommendation would be to search for a quality used Honda recycler how might have this entire unit available either used or refurbished.
