Honda Repair: Clicking noise from right side, different corner, honda civic

Question
1998 Honda Civic DX. I get the clicking noise when I drive past 30-35 mph. No clicking noise when I am turning. When it rains, the clicking noise stops. Brake pads/calipers secure and lug nuts for wheel tight. What could it be?

Answer
James, very difficult question to answer. I will start by asking you if you have had any recent work to the car in that area within the last year or so? New tires and/or balancing? This sounds to me like you could have a broken belt in your tire. Very hard to detect unless balanced and visually inspected from a trained tire tech. If you have had a new tire or an old tire replaced and rotated from a rear, or what ever - try moving the wheel and tire to a different corner of the vehicle. This will eliminate the wheel and tire issue. Then you will know this is something mechanically involved. Start there and let me know if it fixes the issue...?
