Hi I was wanting to know if a 1990 honda accord transmission is the same as a 1992 honda accord ex?

Amanda, these Accords from 1990 to 1993 are all the same. Parts interchange flawlessly. However some Accords came with a Sport button near the gear selector. If your Accord did not come with a Sport option this could potentially cause an unforseen check engine code/check transmission code. The transmission will swap in but there might be some plug or wiring issues. To be safe only interchange transmissions from 1990 to 1991 and 1992 to 1993. Considering Honda switched to an OBD-1 electrical system in 1992 for all Hondas. You can check the wiring on the transmission and if the plugs look like they will hook up go for it!
