Honda Repair: 1995 Honda Civic A/C, compressor clutch, ac works

Question
Sometimes my AC works and sometimes it does not. The compressor clutch would not engage sometimes. I noticed about a year ago if I touched/moved a wire going to a relay switch in the front of the engine the clutch would engage. Just by moving the wire.
Now moving the wire has no affect and I can not figure out why I get AC one day and on others it does not work. Mostly fails on HOT days. Any suggestions?

Answer
Gene, unfortunately the pump is failing after years of use. Mechanically the pump may be fine. Electrically the pump is damaged. There are relays too near the pump to the fans. These could be causing the issue too but, doubtful. Replace the pump and start there.
