Honda Repair: 1985 Honda CRX vacuum trouble, honda crx, vacuum lines

On this motor there is a part called a  " Ported vacuum switch " . Would this be causing my hard to start symptoms or my inability to idle ?  My CRX is hard to start and dies around 1 k rpm's . I have checked all the vacuum lines and they are in excellent shape . The car has very low miles and has been taken care of . Thanks , David

David, i need to know what litre motor you are working on? 1.5, 1.6, etc. And can you provide more specific details as to why your car is having a difficult time starting and idling. For instance, exactly what you are doing, how long the car idles for, how long does it take to turn the engine over. Things of that nature.
