Honda Repair: high beams will not work, high beams, arm assembly

in my 95 accord the high beams will not work iv tried everything still cant find the problem any ideas

Jeff, obviously if you have tried everything ie, bulbs, fuses, etc. Then the problem can only result within the wiring running to the arm on the steering column to the high beams or the arm activation switch. The arm is where i think you have the problem. The arm gets worn out over time with constantly using the turn signals, etc. Replacement is kinda a pain. You cant just replace the arm itself but you need to replace the entire assembly. Remove the steering wheel and air bag. This allows access to the 4 screws which hold the arm assembly in place. Unclip the wiring from there plugs and slide off the arm assembly. Honda recyclers, Ebay, or a junk yard might have this part.
