Honda Repair: 2004 civic, proper diagnosis, overnite

i have a 2004 civic when i try to start th car it juss turns over until i press the gas pedal then it will turn on once its on a  let go of the gas pedal it turn right off, the car wont say on without holding the gas pdal  little it what could this problem be?

Jonathan, that is just weird. Your car is fuel injected. You should not be having to hold the gas pedal down to keep it running. But in order to give you a proper diagnosis i am gonna need some more information from you. Like, has this been an ongoing ordeal? or an overnite thing? did you have any service done recently? have you done anything out of the ordinary at all? please get back to me with a follow up so i can guide you in the right direction.
