Honda Repair: 2001 honda accord transmission, transmission

Hi,i have 2001 honda accord with 188k mile on it.the only problem is The car gets really loud from 25mph – 50mph. The low & higher gears seem to be ok, the middle ones are just real loud.I think there is a problem with transmission..should i change the whole transmission, or is there any problem with some particular part in transmission.

Santosh, are you sure it is coming from the transmission? When was the last time you serviced the transmission? Have you evaluated the transmission fluid level? Sometimes by adding or replacing the transmission fluid level this can solve your problem. Did you buy the car used? More information required for a more accurate diagnosis of the situation.
