Honda Repair: 1988 Honda Prelude, honda prelude, fuel filter

I have a problem with it not starting some times. Its like its not getting fuel.Its fuel injection.Im thinking the the fuel filter or the fuel pump.If im on the right track where are these (pump/filter) located.

Mark, the fuel filter is located on the fire wall i believe. Under the hood next to the transmission? It's been a while since I've been under the hood of an older prelude. LOL. The fuel pump is in the tank and is accessible by removing the lower section of the rear seat. I would replace the fuel filter, Distributor cap and rotor, plug wires and spark plugs, first. Basically a tune up. Then if the problem still persists replace the fuel pump. Also, have the timing checked...
