Honda Repair: 2000 crv leaking front axle seal, cv joints, shaft seal

Question
I have a 2000 Honda crv.  It developed a problem with the inner cv joint on the passenger side.  The faulty joint would cause a clunk and the front right corner of the vehicle to dive a couple of inches when you let off on the gas.  I replaced the axle with a remanufactured one and that fixed that problem.  Since then the shaft seal at the transmission has been leaking.  I replaced the seal but it still leaks.  Surprisingly to me the axle and then the seal were hard to get.  My question is: Are there axles (cv joints) with different seal surface diameters?
I understand from reading some other answers that a bad bearing in the transmission could cause the leak, but there is no vibration on acceleration and no noise that would indicate a faulty bearing.

Answer
Yes, to the bad bearing causing the leak, however that will not happen right away.
Please make sure you are installing a genuine Honda axle seal. I do not trust after market seals.
Or, you may have the incorrect seal installed, or not installed flush and straight around the sides.
Also check and make sure there is not excessive play in the shaft when moving up and down, watch the inner joint and observe that the movement is not more then 2mm to5mm.
