Honda Repair: Honda Accord 2002, 4cyl, auto. 130,000mi., honda accord 2002, would like more information

Question
Since having timing belt replaced, plus other belts in engine, etc (at dealer: supposedly recommended maintenance). Engine vibrates noticeably when in drive (with foot on brake) or lesser in park.  It is not always the same intensity. RPMs are the same (below the number 1) regardless of the intensity of the vibration. I complained to the dealership and they re-mounted the engine and told me it was fixed..it was not..I would like more information before I go back and talk with the service manager again.

Answer
Lise, the problem could be anything from a misadjusted timing to a bad motor mount. Perhaps something could be loose or the belt tensioner pulley was not adjusted properly. The dealer is responsible and should fix everything to the exact working condition it was when you brought the car in for the scheduled maintenance. You can also contact corporate headquarters and make a formal complaint to them as well.
