Honda Repair: 92 Honda Accord EX Hesitation, coolant temperature sensor, engine coolant temperature sensor

Question
Hi, I'm having trouble with my '92 Accord. I recently replaced 3 heater hoses that were bad and since the 2nd started leaking I get BAD hesitation when accelerating (not at take off, usually between 2-3k RPMs), but it only seems to happen when it's warm and after I sit at a light (or at idle for a decent amount of time). I was wondering if maybe I didn't get all the air out of my cooling system (tho the temp is good), or what else to look for. I checked the distributor and spark plugs and they look good. Is there anything else I can check? Thanks

Answer
Was it overheating, if so how long did it run hot? If you did indeed overheat it theres a chance you blew the headgasket. The hesitation could be caused by water filling into the cylinders. Heres a quick and easy check to see if there may be something wrong: when the car is cold, start it, see how long it takes for the upper hose to fill with pressure. If its within a minute or two, somthings wrong, but if it takes several minutes then its probably normal. But if its blown it should still be overheating, so I may be chasing a ghost. You might want to check the engine coolant temperature sensor. Like before if the car overheated it could have worn out the sensor and might be making the ecm set wrong fuel trims. Get back to me after you check those two things. Or if Im completely wrong.
