Honda Repair: 99 Honda Accord brake lights not working, honda accord coupe, brake light switch

Question
I recently had my Accord in the body shop for some work and some repainting.  None of the brake lights work now (that may or may not have happened at the body shop, I just happened to notice it when I was following my boyfriend home after picking up the car).
The bulbs are fine.  It is a 5 speed EX 1999 Honda Accord coupe.  Any ideas what to check?

Answer
Do you have to stick a key or a screwdriver in the slot by the shifter to get it out of park? If so its got a bad brake light switch. Thats under the drivers dash on top of the brake pedal. Its held on with a 14mm nut. If thats not it theres a small control box in the trunk behind the rear-most panel that could have gone bad. This is rare though that these have issues. The plug for the rear lights is under the rear dash on the left side of the car. It may have gotten unplugged at the body shop.
