Honda Repair: 94 Honda Civic Hatchback, speed bump, logical area

Question
I was driving last nite and i went over a speed bump that i bottomed out on and as soon as i got over it i drove up to a stop sign my car sorta died on me. I tried to start the car back up and the started kicked over but the engine didnt not crank. I looked over to the gas guage and it said there was no gas in the car even though i had over a half a tank before. Ever thing was fine in the car i dont know what i could be.

Hi Devon, the most logical area to suspect would be your float sticking in your gas tank. Also, your fuel pump should be tested and/or replaced. Replace the fuel filter too when you do this as well. Check all fuses and inspect under hood grounds. You have a lot of variables working against you too. But, I am sure this is a fuel related problem. Let me know if this helps...
