Honda Repair: Acura Vigor 93, acura vigor, awd vehicles

Question
Hi:

Following are the questions those are looking for CORRECT Answers for my 93 Acura Vigor -

1. While the A/C is on, it gets overheated after, specially, some pedal shifts. The radiator, hose pipes, fans everything's fine. Why is it happening still?
2. How to do smoke with this 2.5 litter VIGOR? I could do this with my Corolla LX. I used to do that by acceleratiing at 'D' Mode & with the handbreak on. Rear End Tires use to spin & buring tire smoke could be seen. Wicked for a race start! How can I do with this VIGOR? It's too powerful to keep it still with the heandbreaks on!!
3. Is DRIFTING possible with ACura Vigor?

That's all for now. Thanx.

Answer
Hi Sunny,

[1], Start car, open hood, and allow car to warm up. You should have (2) fans attached to the radiator. Verify they work. (It might take a bit for them to come on.) Turn on A/C. Verify that fans are both working when A/C is on. Thermostat should be inspected and/or replaced. Fluid should be flushed and refilled. If problem is still there I would suspect water pump.

[2] NOT a recommended practice and hard on the car. Adjust your Emergency brake handle and tighten up slack. It should hold while doing a power brake. Or at least drag the tires locked in one place. You can also put your foot on the brake pedal after you drop the clutch and feather the gas. But requires practice to perfect!

[3] NOT a recommended practice and hard on the car. Drifting is possible with any car but RWD or AWD vehicles are safer and easier to accomplish the feat. Use the Emergency brake to go into the slide, causing the rear to come around, feather the gas to control the drift turning into the slide. This takes years of practice by pro drivers on a closed course. You also need Horsepower and lots of it! Your car wont achieve what you want to try due to a lack of HP/Torque. I hope this helps...
