Honda Repair: 1994 Accord blower runs but no air after a while, yard blower, blower unit

Question
1994 Accord EX, appx. 175K.  When the blower (doesn't matter whether AC or heat turned on) is running, it will work fine for approximately 35 miles or so (highway driving, so appx. 25-30 minutes), and then it stops spitting out air.  the blower is still running behind the glove box it seems, but the airflow coming out of the vents drops to almost none.  if i turn the blower off and run for a while, then turn it back on, i'll get the same progression.  any ideas?  (Also I have a problem with my door locks...they were trying to constantly lock themselves, and eventually quit working via the auto lock buttons or the aftermarket remote.  i've gathered from researching that's a door lock actuator problem, correct?)

Answer
Hi Allen, replace the Blower unit with a used unit from a wrecking yard or buy new. The wrecking yard Blower unit should be tested before installed. You can remove the Blower unit yourself by removing the Glove box for additional access.

Your next question about the door locks could be a problem with the aftermarket alarm, keypad, wiring, and/or door lock actuators. Alarm should be tested/inspected for defects. You might have to replace the alarm too. I hope this helps...
