Honda Repair: 1991 honda accord automatic, vacuum leak, 1991 honda accord

Question
i recently changed the throttle body on my accord because of starting problems and now my car stay in 2000 rpms in park instead of being on 1000 rpms...wat could this be

Answer
Hey Junior,
there could be a few different things it could be, but the first thing I would check would be on the trottle body itself. The is a flathead screw on the trottle body that may be out of adjustment, all you should have to do is start the car and slowly turn the screw to the right or left until the idle adjust to where you want it. I would recommend about 750-800 rpm. If that's not it then it may be a vacuum leak. Let me know how it works out for you.
