Honda Repair: 1992 Honda Accord Coupe Idles funny, honda accord coupe, power steering hose

Question
I just replaced the fast Idle air valve and the idle conrol air valve. The idle air control air valve was bad for sure. The car runs better but still, when in park, ideals up and down up and down(though not as radically as before). Could this be an engine mount problem or the TPS? Is the TPS a difficult job to do? I had a problem when i first bought the car where one of the belts was hitting a power steering hose in the front of the car. My buddy said that it was probably a bad engine mount and used a crow bar to bend the part holding the hose away so it did not rub the belt. I am sure that was just a rig and did not fix the real problem. So i think maybe this problem is the vacuumed engine mount in the front.

Answer
John, The engine mount has nothing to do with the up and down idol. The up and down idol is most likely the sign of a bad distributor, check into that before anything else. The TPS is just the computer for the tranny, you don't need to replace unless you have error codes or bad shifting. Pull the carpet up on the passenger side and turn your key on, count how many blinks then i can tell you what may be the problem
