Honda Repair: Inop Trunk release on 98 Accord, key fobs, trunk release

I just bought my son a 98 Accord.  The remote trunk release on all 3 key fobs does not work. Is there a valet switch that has been activated?  If so, I can't find it.  What should I do?

cant't say that i've ever actually tried a remote trunk on an accord.
the remotes they use are kind of a 'standard issue' for every car. i'm tempted to say that the trunk release is an added option when the car is bought. which most people wont get, but they still use the same remotes.
i can't be absolutely sure, but i will look it up when i get to work monday for my own curiosity. you could try calling a dealer and see what they say, but i will let you know if i find something too.
