Honda Repair: have a few question about my 2001 Honda Civic, honda civic 2001, older cars

Question
Hi
i recently bought a honda civic 2001 couple, and it have been in an accident that i didn't know of until i bought it..
couple question i like to ask it...when i am driving it...the engine make noises...is it normal? when i meant noises i mean...when i am stepping on the gas..it's make noise and vibrant a bit..also..the driver seat...the carpet is kinda of tear apart..it's that safe?
what do you recommend me to do to make sure the car is safe? the car was bought to drive it on the highway for work...thanks you

Answer
vibrating when accelerating could be an axle. possibly a mount. you will need to take it to a shop and have it looked at on a lift.
torn seats is pretty typical of older cars, but a 2k1 isn't that old. a good rule is if the interior is taken car of the rest of the car was too. so it goes both ways.
you really just have to take it somewhere and have it given a thorough looking over. you didn't say your mileage, but i would expect a timing belt to be due about this time on that car (90k).
