Honda Repair: 90 Accord EX, release brakes, vacuum leak

Question
Have had a 90 Accord for more than a year and ran great.  One morning, the car wouldn't start - determined it to be one of the components on the distributor.  Purchased another from salvage yard.  Now it starts, but surges at idle after warmed up.  Also, entire car shakes while in D or R and brakes are applied.  Any suggestions?  I've heard it's timing (which has been checked a couple of times) or vacuum leak.  I've been over the vacuum lines several times.  Could it be one of the distributor components?  Just looking for the most likely starting point.

Separate note - radio cuts out and occasionally when I shut off the ignition, the key won't release.  The key thing is very frustrating - have to turn lights on/off, apply/release brakes, turn wipers on/off - anything electrical and the key finally releases.  Your thougths?

Answer
ok find your #1 and clockwise on the dizzy the timing is 1,3,4,2 check that is all good and then check and clean all spark plugs, make sure all manifold hoses are connected as well, and the key thing is the barrel where the key sits is buggered as well ive had to replace quite a few of these,
