Honda Repair: 93 civic sometimes wont start, fuel pump relay, broken hope

Question
About once a week I have trouble starting my 93 civic.  I go, lets say to the Quick shop.  Go back to start the car and it cranks OK, starts for just a second, then dies.  I try to start it about every 20 seconds, cranks just fine (don't want to wer battery out), but won't start.  About the 5th or 6th time it starts.  Used to be every month, now getting more frequent.

One person told me it's probably the fuel pump, or fuel pump relay - if he's right which one should I change first?

Answer
its usually the relay located under the bonnet EFI relay

check your timing and make sure its right on the mark and check dizzy for spark( if its orange spark replace coil)
check all HT leads for moisture under the caps
check all belts including the Cam belt

and replace whats broken

Hope ive been of some help
