Honda Repair: Front drivers side Disk Rotor, wheel bearing hub assembly, ball joint

Question
On a '96 Prelude Si, i've been trying to remove my rotor to replace two of the lug studs.  I've removed the large nut, and the two screws, but the rotor won't make it over the round piece of metal housing the spindel bolt.  it doesn't appear to have a lip to it, but still the rotor won't slide over it.  the rotor is loose, i can move it from side to side, and slide it backwards and forwards but i just can't pull it off all the way.

any suggestions?

Answer
The rotor only comes off by removing the wheel bearing/hub assembly from the car.  The rotor comes out over the wheel bearing.  Not a fun job.  Sorry.  You must remove the axle from the hub, pop the lower ball joint loose, and remove the bolts that hold the bearing in the knuckle.
