Honda Repair: HONDA CIVIC 99 AC, honda civic 99, labour cost

I've recently purchased a 99 DX honda civic- my first car in USA, and realised that it didn't come with AC. I enquired with RADAIR and they asked me for $1600. I found on net- complete system is being offerred for $800 with warranty- doea labour cost $800? How much should be the actual cost

It was a $1600 option for the DX.  Not sure even why they would sell a car without air but oh well.  It would depend upon where you got one installed but $800 would be a little expensive in my option.  I would expect more like $500 if you had a factory kit to install.
