Honda Repair: Maintenance required indicator, daytime running lights, honda accord

I Preform my own maintenance on My 2003 Honda accord 4cyl . in the past I would reset the maintenace required light with no trouble, now I will not reset?

Check this first.  Also maybe change which trip is being displayed (A or B).  Change to the other trip and see if that works.

Can't reset the maintenance required indicator in a
03-04 Accord? Make sure the headlights are
turned off; otherwise, it won't reset. If you still
can't reset the indicator even with the headlights
turned off, then check if the vehicle has
aftermarket daytime running lights. If it does, you
may need to disable the system to reset the
indicator.
