Honda Repair: 1999 Honda Odyssey power door, honda odyssey, fuse box

Question
We washed the van when it was freezing out. The door worked just before washing the car as we got out of the car to wash it. Just after washing (15 minutes later) we tried to open the doors and one of them would not open via the button. We thought it was frozen so we waited for a warmer day to try to open the door, the door will not open via the power switch. It does open manually however. The door light is always on and the buzzer is always buzzing unless we turn the master switch off. What could be the issue and possible resolution to this?

Thanks.

Vijay

Answer
Vijay, in this case the control unit detected a problem with the door and a code was set. Try this and see what happens. Make sure both doors are completely shut then remove the No.13 7.5A fuse from the passenger under dash fuse box(located in the pass. kick panel) for 30 seconds. Reinstall the fuse and open each door one at a time with the dash switch by pressing and holding the respective switch until completely open, then press and hold the same switch in the closed position until completely closed. Repeat for the opposite door. Let me know how it works out, RICK.
