Honda Repair: Lights on 92 Honda, honda accord lx, honda accord

I just purchased a 92 Honda Accord LX for my daughter.  On the left side of the dash, next to the button which says "CRUISE" is a small red light which stays on all the time.  Do you know what it is for?

It sounds like a light for an aftermarket alarm system.  That wasn't something there from factory.  If you don't have any remotes for an alarm you may run into a time it goes off and you can't turn it off.  I have had to unplug them before to shut them up.  You may want to go to a place that installs alarms and see what they can do about it.  There are so many different brands of alarms that it would take someone who knows about them to be able to help you.
