hi rick,THIS IS AFOLLOW UP ON A QUESTION I ASKED YOU ABOUT A WEEK AGO.THE POWER DOOR LOCK ON THE PASSENGER DOOR WILL NOT WORK NOR WILL THE REMOTE.WILL A BAD ACTUATOR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE KEEP THE REMOTE FROM WORKING ON THE DRIVERS SIDE?I SPRAYED THE KEY UNLOCK WITH WD40 AND WAS ABLE TO UNLOCK IT WITH THE KEY.IT DOESNT WORK VERY GOOD THOUGH.THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.1997 HONDA CIVIC COUPE .THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP.richard

Richard, it won't affect the drivers door because when you unlock with the HONDA keyless remote it unlocks the drivers door first, however when depressed a second time it unlocks all the doors and if one of the doors don't unlock(pass.) it could cause all the doors to lock. Remove the pass. door panel and check to see if you have power at the actuator when you press unlock/lock to make sure V+ is being supplied. If you have pwr/gnd the actuator is bad or the latch is seized causing the actuator to not be strong enough to move the latch position.  Good luck, RICK
