Webb, the first thing you have to do is to remove all 4 plugs and see if the engine cranks. When you suck in water you fill the cylinders with water and create a hydrolock situation which means when the piston comes up to TDC it can't compress the air/fuel charge and stops dead because water is not compressible. When you crank the engine with the plugs removed water should be forced out the spark plug holes. After the water is forced out replace the engine oil and filter as the crankcase probably filled with water. Reinstall the plugs and hope for the best when you turn the key! Worst case scenario is when water was ingested and the piston came up on its stroke it may have bent or even broke a connecting rod. Hopefully not because HONDA will not cover that kind of damage due to water ingestion because of an aftermarket air intake system. Good luck and let me know, RICK          - QUESTION ?-  Rick, I took all sparkplugs out but car did not crank up still felt frozen, is it a good idea to keep trying to crank the engine? i've heard of just taking maybe one sparkplug, don't know, have not tried should i try just try replacing the oil and flush the engine myself and then see. I really appreciate all the help.

Answer
Webb, try to turn it manually with the spark plugs removed. Put a socket on the crank pulley(19mm) and try to turn it(transmision in neutral)If it turns maybe the starter, if not in which I'm thinking is gonna be the case the engine may be jammed by a broken rod. The only way to know for sure if it doesn't turn is to drop the oil pan and have a look at the internals. Good luck, RICK
