Honda Repair: honda (please help), stock coil, firing order

My Honda wont start anymore, cranks, but nothing. (Before) Ran the car for 10 min, shut off, put a new cap on the distributor then it wont start anymore. Main relay clicks, panel lights come on except engine light does not come on at all, for 2 sec, there is a fuel pump noise for 2 sec. Found the coil was burnt out (primary and sec) replaced that, now there is somewhat of a spark to start it (reddish but lots). It is defiantly kicking try to start now, it has a hei non stock sys in it that was not sealed very good or shielded before,  I put in a stock coil for now to get the spark back to get it firing again. I looked at the injectors while I cranked it, I did not see any spray at all coming out of them, but there is a gas smell. Plug wires are in the right order, and rotor lines up with no#1 wire at tdc. Don't hear any clicking from injectors while cranking. Put some gas in the carb cranked it still nothing. There is a flowing sound coming from the fuel regulator when I first let the fuel pump kick in for 2 sec and there was gas in the oil when I changed it last week(I tasted it). the comp flashes ounce and then stays off , no prob codes. Checked all the fuses and closed the temp sensor to tell the comp it was cold , still nothing. Im beginning to suspect the fuel pump, there is discharge from the fuel line and flow from carb when an injector is out, not a  huge spray just a little gush 50psi (I don't think so).So now I am stuck pulling out the fuel pump to look at it.  Please help me im going crazy about it.

Richard, you said the car ran before you put the cap on and after you put the cap on it didn't? Is that what you mean. If so did you put another aftermarket cap on? Even though you have spark it may not be a strong enough spark. Make sure the plugs and wires are OEM. The firing order is 1-3-4-2 and #1 is the cyl. on the t-belt side. What year and model? With fuel in the oil its getting fuel(flooded). I suspect its a spark issue but not totally sure. Let me know. RICK
