Honda Repair: 97 Accord Stalling, gas tank, distributor cap

Question
Last night my 97 Accord 2.2 started to stall on me. It idles OK, not great, but it runs. As soon as I apply some throttle, it bogs down. There is no fuel smell from either the exhaust or from under the hood. I originally thought it might be the fuel filter, but I understand that probably isn't the case and if it were, I'd have a tough time getting to it. Could it be the fuel pump? If so is it located in the fuel tank?

Answer
Ceverett:
The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank. There are a few other things you may want to do. Check the tune-up status. Plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Other things to check for are a restricted exhaust system (catalytic converter) may also be the cause as well as the fuel delivery.
Hope this helps.
