Honda Repair: Tire Alignment, tire alignment, assistance bill

Question
Ok! well I got the name of the part, because I found the receipt they gave me..and its a little sloppy..but if I'm reading right..it says...Suspension sub frame that holds lower controll arms and rack in place is broken on the left side...does that make any sense? just to get another say so from a mechanic, and can I fix this problem? (if I can, Im guessing I better hit the junkyard eh?) get back to me, and thanks for all your help Bill

Answer
Adrian:
The sub-frame is a welded part that holds the control arm, usually the bushing will go bad and I hope that is the case and not the sub-frame. This is going to be a big job. If it is the sub-frame, well I don't know if you want to try and fix yourself. If it is the bushing, you will need to get a new one and with a car that is 16 to 17 years old, you are going to need air tools to take everything off. If it is the sub-frame you should be able to look under there and see if it is cracked. Sorry I can't be of more help. Take a look under the car to see if you can see the broken part, or check the receipt to see if it mentions bushing. Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
