How do I remove and replace a lower ball joint on a '89 Honda Accord LX?

You will need to remove the steering knuckle to get to the ball joint. To do that you will first need to loosen the driveaxle hub nut. Remove the tie-rod from the steering knuckle. Separate the lower are from the steering knuckle. Separate the top knuckle from the upper arm. Pull the knuckle and hub assembly from the driveaxle. You will also need to remove the brake caliper. When you get all this disassembled I would take the assembly to a machine shop and have they replaced the joint.
