Honda Repair: 94 Accord, coolant, fuel system

Question
It seems to be a popular question that you can't give an answer to without more info, but here goes ...

1994 Accord, fuel-injected, won't start up after it runs for a while, and it gets hot. I know that the air filter is good.  I changed the coolant, but it had been filled with water and could have been heating so much that it kept a valve open after it was shut off. With the coolant replaced, it still doesn't start when hot.

It has electrical power, and the cables are good.  When the key is turned, there is juice but it does not turn over.  Could it be something specific in the fuel system that keeps the starter from engaging?

Thanks,
Troy

Answer
Troy:
The fuel and starting systems are separate so the lack of fuel would not cause the starter not to engage. I would suspect the starter or solenoid is going out. One way to check would be to tap on the starter while someone tries to start the car, if the starter engages I would say you found the problem.
Hopefully this helps.
Good luck.
