Honda Repair: ac problem, honda civic ex, time hope

Question
i have a 95 honda civic EX and when i start the car in the morning or after a long break from driving, the a/c works fine.  However after driving for a while, less and less air comes out through the vents.  During this time, if i turn the a/c up to a higher setting, you can hear the sound of the a/c working, but only a little amount of air comes through the vents.  What could be the problem?
Also, I was just wondering how do you know when to recharge an a/c system?  What are the possible symptoms that occur when a system needs to be recharged?
Thanks for your time.  Hope to hear from you soon.

Jon:
From what you describe, the a/c is working fine but the blower is not blowing enough air. You need to have the blower motor checked, it sounds like the motor is going out. If you lose too much freon, you compressor will not work. I don't have my a/c checked unless I experience a problem with it, if there is a leak in the system, you will know it soon enough.
