Honda Repair: heater repair, loose connection, blower motor

Question
-------------------------
Hi Bill..thanks for the response..but no my blower is not working..something sounds as if it is "loose" when I try to turn it on
Michelle:
I going to assume your blower motor is working and you are not getting any warm air. Check to make sure you have coolant in the radiator (make sure engine is cool before checking). Other than that there could be a few different things, thermostat, radiator or water pump. I would change the thermostat first as it is the cheapest and easiest to replace. You can check the inside of the radiator by taking the cap off (with the engine cool) and look inside to see any of the holes clogged, if they are then the radiator needs to be cleaned or replaced. The last thing to check would be the water pump and this is a bigger job to replace.
Good luck.

Michelle:
I'm not sure too what would be loose, you would have to see if you can see a loose connection to the switch. The blower is operated by a relay in the engine compartment and if everything is connected, I would check the relay.
If it is the relay, they cost about $30. from a parts store and you can double that if you go to Honda.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
