Please advise what need to be done.

Answer
Rajeev:
The O2 sensor is controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) mounted in the distributor and that is sending the signal out on whether the gas mix is too lean or too rich and it will adjust according to the readings. If the O2 is installed correctly your problem may be with the PCM. You may end up taking the car to a shop to diagnosis because they have all the diagnostic equipment to tell what is going on. The emission test can only tell the symptom and not the cause.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
Good luck.
Bill
