Honda Repair: Need Alternator Right Away, express mail service, army europe

Hi Chris,

I support HQ, U.S. Army Europe in Heidelberg, Germany. My
Alternator on my 1998 Honda Accord EX, 3.0L, 2-Dr V6 died
yesterday. I managed to drive it up to a repair shop this morning
on remaining battery power. They tested it on their computer
and said it was the Alternator, not battery or voltage regulator.

I need some quick info, as each day of waiting for a part costs
me rental car fees. AAFES can order the part for $185, with a
$50 core price. However, it usually takes 10-14 days to receive a
part (hence high rental car cost). Prices at the German shop are
ridiculous (~$450 for a remanufactured alternator + $100/hr
labor fee).

I looked up the info for an alternator for my Make/Model, and it
lists 2 - both Bosch. One data item looks like a misprint (the List
price cited as $198, with 'Your Price' stated over $400).

The info from your site, for the reman. Alt says:

F4000-88517, BOS, Alternator reman., 2-5 days, $102.92 each

and then it says:
 
F4000-88517, BOS CORE, 2-5 days $75.00, core, $75.00

Please help me understand what that is telling me.  Does it mean
I pay $177.92 total up front, and then get refunded $75 if I send
back my current Alternator core?  What if my current alternator
is not a Bosch? Will i still get the refund?

How fast can you get it to my address, which is:

CMR 420, Box 1338
APO AE 09063

Another confusing thing on the order site says: "We do not ship
to P.O. Boxes."  A few lines later, it has a check box for APO/FPO
addresses, and these are ALL P.O. boxes. So will you or won't
you ship to my APO address?  If yes, can I request the U.S.P.S.
Express Mail Service (it's faster than priority)?  If yes, how much
will it cost?

Please answer as soon as you can. I will make a decision this
evening (my time), and if you don't have time to get back to me,
I'll have to order from another site.

WHAT THEY MEAN BY THE CORE PRICE IS THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE THE ALTERNATOR FULL PRICE THEN YOU WILL GET THE $75 REFUND WHEN YOU GIVE THEM YOUR OLD ALTERNATOR. THE ALTERNATOR IS PRETTY PRICY FOR THAT YEAR OF ACCORD SO I THINK THAT WOULD BE A GOOD PRICE ITS PRETTY SIMPLE TO INSTALL ALSO.
