Honda Repair: engine mounts, mike kennedy, motor mounts

Hello Gene,
Just found out that my 2000 Odyssey with 63,000 miles needs 2 motor mounts.Right side and right front. Do you think this is premature? Never had to replace mounts in my life and non-honda mechanic thinks they are not strong enough fot the van. Whats your opinion?

Mike,
That is a very common occurance with your car. As a matter of fact, it was happening so much, that Honda came out with an improved mount up front. You will see when you get it replaced. After you get it replaced, you will not have another problem with the mounts.
