My air conditioner doesn't make any sound when I turn on the switch. I was wondering what may be the problem. I have and 1990 integra RS 4DR with 259,000 miles and I also have an 1991 Honda Accord EX with the same problem.

Your compressor is not coming on for some reason. The reason most likley is that you have a leak in the system, and the pressure switch is not reading any pressure in the system. Therefore it does not allow the compressor to come on.
You need to have the system leak tested to find the leak.
