Honda Repair: Engine wont hold start., 1992 honda accord, honda accord

My 1992 Honda Accord has worked fine until this evening.  I arrived home from work about 6 PM and about two hours later the car won't start.  It doesn't seem to be the battery or the ignitor because it fires up like normal.  (The ignitor was replaced about 4 years ago and this does not seem to be the same problem.)  It just doesn't hold the start and subsequently dies.  Pressing the accelerator does nothing.  It just won't rev up.  Any ideas?

I am not too sure of your question. You said your car won't start, but then in the next sentence you said it fires up normaly. Then you said it won't rev up, so does the car just idle?
