Hi, I have a 2006 Sonata.  Recently my driver side rear door lock quit working both with the remote and the manual button to unlock all doors.  This started happening randomly, but now it never works.  Would you have any idea what could be wrong?

Hi, Sandy.  Usually, this is caused by a weak door lock actuator.  If you can see (or feel) the lock knob move even just the slightest amount when operating it electrically, you've just verified that the problem is indeed in the actuator.

The actuator is not serviced separately but rather as part of the entire door latch assembly.
