Hyundai Repair: 05 sonata, crank sensor, balance shaft

Question
just did timing belt and crank sensor now vibrates read your article do i need to remove the timing belt again. thanks

Answer
Presuming this is a four cylinder, if you feel a very high frequency vibration (about four times the frequency of a misfire) worse at higher rpm, you probably have one of the balance shafts out of time.  Retiming the front balance shaft will require removal of the timing belt.  For the rear shaft, you may be able to sneak the balance shaft belt off the shaft sprocket and retime it without removing the timing belt and tensioner, but this will likely require a fair amount of finesse.
