Question

Code 1 -     U0D0B    [ 0, 0,cd b]
Code 2 -     B07F1     [ 0, 0,87,f ]
Code 3 -     P1143       [ 0, 0,11,43]
Code 4 -     P2B00    [ 0, 0,2b 0]

Answer
Hi, Maureen.  None of these codes are defined for the powertrain (or any other system) used in the 2001 Elantra in the U.S.  To my knowledge, Canadian vehicles are similar, so my primary suspicion is that the tool you're using to read the codes is not communicating properly with the vehicle.  To confirm, can you tell me what engine your car has, or if not, the vehicle identification number?  Can you also tell me the method you were using for retrieving these codes (or the identity of the tool used)?

On this particular vehicle, I would expect all codes to be 5 digits; the first digit indicating the system (P for powertrain, B for body, C for chassis, U for networking), and the remaining four digits to be numeric.

The U in U0D0B tells me this is a networking code.  As your car does not use networking, this is not a possible code on your vehicle.

The B in B07F1 tells me this would be a body-related code.  To my knowledge, the only system on your car which can set B codes is the air bag system.  B07F1 is not a defined code in your vehicle's air bag system.

P1143 is a valid powertrain code on some vehicles, but not on yours, unless its fuel management system is different from the vehicles in the U.S.

I know of no vehicle on which P2B00 is used as a powertrain code.
