Hyundai Repair: no start, fuel management system, crank sensor

Question
I just put a new crank sensor in my 2000 sonata and it still has no fire any suggestions.

Answer
Hi, Sam.  There could be numerous causes why you would get a crank-no start condition.  I'm going to have a few questions for you.  To start with, it'll help me to know what engine you have in your Sonata.  This will help me know what fuel management system it has.

1.  What led you to replace the crank sensor to begin with?
2.  Did you verify that there is actually no spark, or do we just know that the engine cranks but does not start?
3.  Does the check engine lamp come on when the ignition lock is turned to the "on" position?

After you've provided this information, I'll likely have more questions for you/more tasks for you to perform, but the information will help me determine which direction to go next.
