Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Brake Failure, rear drum brakes, emergency brake system

Question
My brakes completely went out yesterday on my 2001 Hyundai Sonata.  I replaced the pads about 6 months ago, and last year had a rear wheel bearing replaced.  The mechanic said that the faulty wheel bearing ruined a piece in my emergency brake system, so I had him remove the emergency brake components, rather than pay to repair that also.  The brakes became soft over the course of a few days, and the other day, the "brake" light on my instrument panel came on.  I had brakes for the rest of that trip (2 hours), but got into the car the next day, and the brakes were gone.  i checked my brake fluid resevoir, and it was low.  So I filled it up, and let the car sit for 2 days.  Upon inspection, the brake fluid resevoir is empty again, and the car has not moved.  There is obviously a leak, but how do I go about finding it?  Thank you.

Answer
Hi, Jeremy.  This isn't too difficult a task as long as you're able to crawl under the car.  You're just going to follow the lines and visually look to see where the fluid is coming out.  If you have rear drum brakes, you will need to remove the drums for inspection of the wheel cylinders as well.

First, look at the master cylinder itself and the bottom of the brake booster.  Can you see any fluid leaking out between the master cylinder and the booster or at the bottom of the booster?  If so, this is an indication that the master cylinder itself is leaking.  If not, it's probably easiest to start at each wheel looking for leaks and following the lines toward the master cylinder.
