thanks.

Answer
Hi, Michael.  According to the schematics, neither of the engines used in the 2006 Tiburon make use of a MAP sensor.  Both use mass air flow (MAF) sensors.  A MAP sensor will typically be installed in the intake manifold, whereas a MAF sensor will be installed between the air box and the throttle body.

As I look at the schematics, I see that the 2.7L V6 has a MAF sensor with the wire colors in question, so I'm going to go ahead and assume this is the vehicle and sensor to which you refer.

The wires should be as follows:

Terminal 1 -- Black -- sensor ground through ECM.  Do not ground additional items to this wire as this may cause too much current through the ECM.

Terminal 2 -- Blue -- Do not attach anything to this wire for any reason.  This could make your vehicle not run correctly or damage your ECM.

Terminal 3 -- Orange -- 12V power from 10A sensor fuse.  Be careful what you power off this wire, as if it draws too much current, it could cause your fuse to blow.
