Hyundai Repair: 2003 eluntra ac problems, throttle position sensor, coolant level

Question
I have a 2003 eluntra.  The ac works fine while at idle. as soon as you start to give the car gas and get moving the ac cuts out and blows all hot air. The whole time you are driving you have no ac. I have checked the coolant level and its fine. Also checked the refrederant and it is also fine. What's going on please help

Answer
The symptoms you describe are consistent with an overcharged system (or any other condition which causes excessive high side pressure when the engine is revved).

You might also check the throttle position sensor.  Under certain load conditions, the engine control module (ECM) is programmed to turn off the air conditioning to provide more engine power.  A faulty throttle position sensor can throw off the ECM's engine load calculations.
