Hyundai Repair: ethanol in fuel, ethanol blend, quite some time

Hi iown a 98  16 valve f/injected hyundai sedan. I live in nsw a state in australia where a 10%ethanol blend in fuel will become mandated in july 2011. I love this car and hyundai say its not suitable too run this fuel in mycar , so what can i do.            Thanking you for any help you can give, RP.

Hi, Roger.  We've been running 10% ethanol here in the states for quite some time now.  Our 1998 vehicles were designed to run on petrol and have run on 10% ethanol with no known issues for quite some time.  So I'm a little confused as to why Hyundai says it isn't suitable in Australia.  Of course, I don't know if there are differences in Australian vs. U.S. petrol that make this more of an issue in Australia.
