Hyundai Repair: Santa Fe climate display lights went out, hyundai santa fe, haynes book

Question
2003 Hyundai Santa Fe.  The display lights for the temperature and fan speed are out.  all the interior fuses are fine.  Is there a light bulb I need to change or will I need to replace something else?  The temp and fan controls work fine.  First the light was dim then dark and it happened from one side to the other.  I have a Haynes book and can pull the trim, but don't know what to look for inside. thanks.

Answer
There are small bulbs in the rear of the climate control assembly, which, if I remember correctly, will come out with the lower trim.  You'll need to obtain replacements and replace these bulbs.  Given the relative ease of disassembly, it may be to your benefit to remove a bulb or two and take to your local parts store (or just take the whole HVAC control).  They may be able to match up a bulb they have in stock.  If not, you'll probably need to purchase new bulbs at the dealer.
